Helle Metslang ist Professorin für estnische Sprache an der Universität Tartu. In ihren deutschsprachigen Vorlesungen behandelt sie die folgenden Themen: Estnische Morphologie und Syntax im Vergleich zum Finnischen, Problematische Aspekte beim Erwerb von Estnisch als Zweitsprache.
