Im Gespräch mit Jens Bisky, Süddeutsche Zeitung, erläutern die drei renommierten Historiker, warum die Arbeit am »Puzzle der Gewaltherrschaft im 20. Jahrhundert« (Börsenblatt) auch in Zukunft wichtige Erkenntnisse liefern wird. Neue Ansätze in der Gewaltforschung werden skizziert, die nicht nur die Geschichte von Diktaturen und totalitären Systemen, sondern auch deren Nachwirken in heutigen Demokratien erhellen und gleichzeitig mögliche Wege aus der Gewalt aufzeigen.
Anschließend stellen Felix Schnell und Gerhard Wolf, Autoren der ersten beiden Bände der Reihe, ihre Ergebnisse dar und diskutieren sie mit Jens Bisky und dem Publikum.
