Anlässlich der Ausstellung "Jenseits des Horizonts. Raum und Wissen in den Kulturen der Alten Welt" im Pergamonmuseum, Berlin veranstaltet das Deutsche Archäologische Institut im Rahmen des Exzellenzclusters TOPOI, in Zusammenarbeit mit der Humboldt-Universität und dem Museum für Islamische Kunst, die Vortragsreihe "Klänge antiker Musikinstrumente. Sounds of Ancient Musical Instruments".
Der zweite Vortrag von Simon und Maria O’Dwyer, Ancient Music Ireland & Joachim Schween, beschäftigt sich mit Bronze Age Horns and Trumpets in Europe - Hörner und Trompeten der Bronzezeit in Europa.
