Brigitte Ugi, Frankfurt am Main: „Pictures in Motion - Das Fotografische in den Musikvideos von Anton Corbijn“
Als unerlässliche Instrumente für die mediale Präsenz von Musikern nehmen Fotografien und Musikvideos einen wesentlichen Stellenwert bei der Visualisierung von Musik und der Imagebildung von Musikern ein. Anton Corbijn, einer der wichtigsten Vertreter im Bereich der Musikfotografie, hat durch seine Fotografien für Zeitschriften, Platten- oder CD-Cover und seine Musikvideos das visuelle Erscheinungsbild und somit das Image von Musikern maßgeblich mitgeprägt. Seit einigen Jahren hat er sich darüber hinaus der Filmregie und der Filmproduktion zugewandt. Brigitte Ugi (Universität Frankfurt am Main) zeigt in ihrem Vortrag, auf welche Weise Anton Corbijn seine Bildsprache an das Medium des Musikvideos anpasst und mit welcher Konsequenz ein medialer Transfer seiner fotografischen Bildsprache erfolgt.
