Bildung wird zunehmend einem ökonomistischen Regime unterworfen, welches internationale Organisationen und Lobbygruppen stützen. So ordnet etwa das von PISA und Bologna forcierte Modell der „Kompetenz“ die menschliche Person der Fremdsteuerung unter. Zugleich löst es tradierte Zusammenhänge und soziale Bindungen auf. Auch wenn Menschen in Kindergärten, Schulen, Berufsschulen und Universitäten gleichermaßen unter solchen ökonomischen Fremdbestimmungs- und Entwurzelungsstrategien leiden, mangelt es oft an Sprache, deren Hintergründe
und Folgen klar zu artikulieren und zu kritisieren. Die Veranstaltung zeigt Wege auf, diese Sprachlosigkeit zu überwinden.
Zugleich fragt sie danach, wie Bildung (wieder) zum Ort von Gemeinschaftlichkeit und Gemeinsinn werden kann.
