Die Vortragsreihe soll die Bedeutung empirischer psychologischer Forschung für die Beantwortung aktueller gesellschaftlicher Fragen aufzeigen. Wie nähern sich empirisch forschende Psychologen gesellschaftlichen Phänomenen wie zum Beispiel der Entstehung von Vorurteilen an? Was trägt solche Forschung zur Erklärung und zum Verständnis der Phänomene bei? Welche Anregungen, Lösungsansätze und Handlungsempfehlungen werden entwickelt und welche neuen Fragen ergeben sich aufgrund der Befunde?
