In den letzten Jahren sind moralische Intuitionen vermehrt zum Gegenstand der empirischen Moralpsychologie geworden. Einige psychologische Studien legen nahe, dass manche Intuitionen wenig verlässlich sind. Einzelne Autoren – etwa Joshua Greene – ziehen sogar recht weit reichende skeptische Schlussfolgerungen aus ihren empirischen Untersuchungen. In der normativen Ethik werden moralische Intuitionen häufig ins Spiel gebracht. Viele Philosophen weisen Intuitionen eine evidenzielle Rolle zu. Welche Implikationen haben moralpsychologische Studien für die normative Moraltheorie? Haben sie Implikationen für grundlagentheoretische Fragen der Ethik?
Dr. Tatjana Tarkian wurde 1967 in Hamburg geboren und studierte Philosophie, Deutsche Philologie und Politikwissenschaft an der Universität Göttingen, der University of California at Davis und der University of California at San Diego. Die Promotion erfolgte an der Universität Göttingen mit einer Arbeit zu Grundlagenfragen der Ethik (Moral, Normativität und Wahrheit). Sie ist wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Seminar für Philosophie der Universität Erfurt.
