Zentraler Bestandteil des Litauischen Abends wird der Vortrag der litauischen Kulturwissenschaftlerin Rūta Eidukevičienė sein, die an der Saar-Uni die diesjährige Gastprofessur Europaicum innehat. Sie erläutert in ihrem Vortrag, welche Klischees Litauen und seinen Bewohnern anhaften und wie nahe diese Klischees an der Wirklichkeit sind.
Darüber hinaus stellt sich die Litauische Gemeinde des Saarlandes vor, es wird ein Quiz zu dem baltischen Land geben sowie eine Vorführung litauischer Tänze und Musik. Ein Umtrunk mit Spezialitäten aus der litauischen Küche beendet den Abend.
