Im Friseursalon unistyle&more an der Gladbecker Straße 6-10 in Essen begegnen sich Literatur und Barbierkultur. In lockerer Atmosphäre werden Texte vorgestellt und diskutiert. „Dazu gibt es alles, was man vom Friseurbesuch kennt: Kaffee und Tee, Lesemappen, Tipps und Trends, Klatsch und Tratsch, mutige Schnitte und modische Tönungen, erlesene Kunst und haarscharfe Kritik“, erklärt Literaturwissenschaftlerin Prof. Dr. Alexandra Pontzen, die die Reihe organisiert. „Wenn am Ende der Spiegel gereicht wird, zählt ausschließlich das persönliche Urteil – gefällt mir oder gefällt mir gar nicht. Das Gute: neue Literatur wächst nach.“
Die literarische Reihe wird unterstützt von der Heinrich-Heine-Buchhandlung und dem Café Soulkitchen. Eine Anmeldung ist nicht erforderlich.
