Nanosafety includes
- a detailed knowledge on the materials as well as acquisition of their properties
- elucidation of the effects of nanomaterials on human beings, including detailed analyses on their mode of action and structure activity relationships
- assessment of the impact of nanomaterials on living organisms and the environment
- the detection, identification, and quantification of nanomaterials in complex matrices, for example cells and tissues
- as well as standardization, legislative, regulatory and social aspects.
These topics will be discussed in the following sessions at Nanosafety 2013:
- Nanoobjects: characterisation techniques and standardisation
- Human health: in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo testing
- Environmental impact of nanomaterials
- Detection and quantification of nanoobjects in living systems
- Modelling and prediction of nanomaterial effects
- Safety, current legislation and social/ethical aspects

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.
You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
