Das Kompetenzzentrum „Usability in Germany“ ist ein Projekt der Initiative „Mittelstand Digital“ des Bundesministeriums für Wirtschaft und Technologie zur Förderung des Mittelstandes bei der Digitalisierung der Industrie- und Geschäftswelt. Um die Verbreitung von Usability-Praktiken in mittelständischen Software-Herstellern und –Nutzern zu fördern, wird „Usability in Germany“ ein Managementkonzept entwickeln und als Lernplattform und Ansprechpartner ein Netzwerk aufbauen.
Halbjährliche Tagungen sollen mittelständischen Softwareherstellern eine Diskussionsplattform bieten.
