Die neue Forschungsrichtung der Developmental Neuroscience untersucht die Plastizität und Regenerativität des Gehirns über die Lebensspanne. Hierfür stützt sie sich auf kulturell und historisch geprägte Konzepte wie Generation, Alter, Kindheit oder Adoleszenz. Der Workshop diskutiert den Einfluss von Kultur auf die Neurowissenschaften bzw. den Einfluss der Neurowissenschaften auf unsere Gegenwartskultur.
