In 4 days, 25 invited speakers from industry and academia will present and discuss current research topics in modern biotechnology. Topics range from the development of new enzymes, the application of biocatalysts in industrial chemistry to emerging topics such as electro-biotechnology.
A special feature of the summer school is the active participation of attending young researchers. All participants are asked to submit posters that will be presented and discussed in two-minute “speed lectures” and an extensive poster party.
The Summer School will be held in English language. It is organized by the joint working group “Biotransformations” of DECHEMA and VAAM.
Information on participating / attending:
Registration will be open until June 16, 2014 at http://dechema-dfi.de/biotransformations.html. Participants will be selected according to the clear presentation of their topics and the creativity of their research approach. The capacity is limited to 80 participants.
