Unter dem Motto »Komplexes leicht geprüft!« erläutern und demonstrieren Ihnen unsere Experten anhand eines Exponats die robotergestützte Ultraschall-Prüfung mit integrierter 3D-Rekonstruktion des Bauteilvolumens von CFK-Komponenten. Die am Fraunhofer IZFP entwickelte »Sampling Phased Array«-Technologie bietet einzigartige Eigenschaften zur 3D-Ultraschall-Tomographie von Leichtbaukomponenten aus faserverstärkten Kunststoffen, die auch außerhalb von Luft- und Raumfahrt immer breitere Anwendung in vielen anderen Branchen finden.

According to the theme "Complex lightweight objects easily tested", our experts explain and demonstrate the robot-assisted ultrasonic inspection with integrated 3D reconstruction of CFRP component volume. The exhibit shows the "sampling phased array" technology – a development of the Fraunhofer IZFP – that offers unique features for 3D ultrasound imaging of lightweight components made from fiber-reinforced plastics, which can be found in many industries aside from aerospace with an increasing number of applications.
