Ein Anliegen von Donna Nelson, Professorin für organische Chemie an der Universität von Oklahoma, ist die Darstellung von Wissenschaft in der Öffentlichkeit zu verbessern. So entstand von 2008 bis 2012 die Zusammenarbeit mit dem Sender AMC TV. In ihrem Vortrag in englischer Sprache wird Nelson darüber berichten, welche Kompromisse eingegangen werden müssen, um trotz wissenschaftlicher Genauigkeit eine unterhaltsame Serie zu produzieren.
Der Besuch der Veranstaltung ist kostenlos. Im Anschluss besteht bei einem Imbiss Gelegenheit zur Diskussion
