Der EQ-5D Fragebogen ist das international am häufigsten eingesetzte Instrument zur Messung der Lebensqualität im Kontext gesundheitsökonomischer Evaluationsstudien. Richard Brooks gehört zu den Enthusiasten, die vor beinahe 30 Jahren dieses Instrument entwickelt haben. Er wird in seinem Vortrag auf die Entwicklungsgeschichte des EQ-5D, aber auch auf neuere Ansätze und Anwendungsmöglichkeiten des Fragebogens eingehen.
