Von Biomarkern zur Bestimmung der Qualität einer Bioprobe für die medizinische Forschung über Standards für die Biobanken-IT bis zur Rolle von Ethikkommissionen reicht das Themenspektrum des 3. Nationalen Biobanken-Symposiums, das am 3. und 4. Dezember 2014 in Berlin stattfinden wird. Das Symposium unter dem Leitthema „Biobanken-Forschung in Deutschland: Vom Konzept zur Realisierung“ wird etwa 250 Wissenschaftler, Biobanken- und IT-Spezialisten, Kliniker, Pathologen und Laboratoriumsmediziner sowie Vertreter der Industrie zusammenbringen. Internationale Referenten werden insbesondere zum Thema Qualitätssicherung für Biobanken erwartet.
