Veranstaltet wird die Tagung zum elften Mal vom An-Insitut Fluid- und Pumpentechnik in Zusammenarbeit mit der Hochschule Merseburg und dem Bezirksverein Halle des VDI. Die Sektionen der Tagung beleuchteten unterschiedliche Aspekte der Diagnose und Instandhaltung von Maschinen und Anlagen, unter anderem auch die Ultraschalldiagnose. Zur Tagung gehören auch eine Exkursion zur Dow Mitteldeutschland GmbH in Schkopau und eine Firmenpräsentation von Diagnosegeräten und Überwachungseinrichtungen für Maschinen und Anlagen.
