Sie erläutert die Geschichte von den ältesten menschlichen Funden und den Plastiken weiblicher Genitalbleckerinnen an romanischen Kirchen, über Annie Sprinkles „public cervix announcement“ bis hin zu Reshma Chhibas begehbarem weiblichen Genital, das das ehemalige Frauengefängnis in Johannisburg transformiert hat.
Dr. Mithu Sanyal ist Kulturwissenschaftlerin, Journalistin und Autorin aus Düsseldorf.
Die Veranstaltung bildete den Auftakt der Reihe „Sex Tells“ des Fachbereichs Soziale Arbeit, Medien, Kultur, die mit regelmäßigen Veranstaltungen zu sexualwissenschaftlichen Themen die breite Öffentlichkeit zur Diskussion einlädt.
Der Eintritt ist frei, um Spenden wird gebeten.
