We are pleased to announce that Lubos Pastor, the Charles P. McQuaid Professor of Finance at the University of Chicago, has agreed to act as the academic keynote speaker of the joint conference.
We invite researchers and practitioners to participate in the joint conference of the 21st Annual Meeting of the German Finance Association and the 13th Symposium on Finance, Banking, and Insurance at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. The aim of the conference is to bring together academia and practice to discuss the latest research from all areas of finance, banking, and insurance. Throughout the course of the conference, a total of 75 papers will be presented. The conference's keynote speech about political uncertainty will be held by Lubos Pastor, Charles P. McQuaid Professor of Finance at the University of Chicago.
The conference will take place on December 19 and 20, 2014. On the evening of December 18, BBBank eG invites all participants to the conference’s official get-together. Information on participating / attending:
Registration is mandatory for participation at the joint conference. The participation fee ranges from 100 € to 275 € depending on registration date and status of the registrant (e.g., DGF-member, student, academic or practitioner). There is an optional conference dinner at extra costs. A walk-in fee of 250 € will be charged to participants who are not registered for the conference.
