Alle sprechen von der globalen Erwärmung, vom Klimawandel und davon, wie man ihn stoppen könnte. Aber kann man das überhaupt? Was bedeutet Klimawandel? 17 Jahre nach Kyoto findet 2015 wieder eine UN-Klimakonferenz statt, in der erneut verbindliche Ziele zur Eindämmung des Klimawandels festgelegt werden sollen. Was können wir erwarten? Ist ein solcher Vertrag überhaupt realistisch?
Denn Klimabesorgnis scheint nur Industrienationen zu erfassen. Können wir Klimawandel vermeiden und sowohl wirtschaftliches Wachstum in den Schwellenländern erlauben und Armut in den Ärmeländern überwinden? Und: Wenn der Klimawandel unaufhaltsam ist, was erwartet uns? Auch politisch?
