Abstrakt: Dieser Vortrag beleuchtet den Versuch, mit Hilfe idealisierter Modellsysteme und aufwendiger Computer-Simulationen zu einem besseren theoretischen Verständnis turbulenter Strömungen und Magnetfelder zu gelangen. Als Beispiele dienen u.a. Plasmen unter Einfluss eines mittleren Magnetfelds bzw. eines mittleren Temperaturgradienten. Die vielversprechenden Möglichkeiten Lagrangescher Turbulenz-Statistik werden ebenfalls angesprochen.
