Vital environmental resources are strongly interconnected and require an integrated perspective to manage them sustainably. The Dresden Nexus Conference (DNC) will focus on the contributions of such a nexus approach to the management of water, soil and waste. The first of the biennial Dresden Nexus conferences, the DNC 2015, takes place from 25-27 March 2015 in Dresden/Germany. The DNC 2015 will assemble UN organizations, UNU institutes, member states, German ministries, national and international organizations as well as individual researchers and NGOs from around the world under the theme “Global Change, Sustainable Development Goals and the Nexus Approach”.
The conference is organized by the research partners United Nations University Institute for Integrated Management of Material Fluxes and of Resources (UNU-FLORES), Technische Universität Dresden (TUD) and Leibniz Institute of Ecological Urban and Regional Development (IOER).

Deadline for early bird enrolment (100 €, students: 50 €): 15 January 2015
After 15 January 2015 the fees will be increased to 100 € and 150 €.
