Die „International Working Conference on Requirements Engineering: Foundation for Software Quality“ (REFSQ) in Essen bietet über 30 Vorträge, verschiedene Workshops und Poster-Präsentationen. Das Schwerpunktthema „I heard it first at REFSQ“ unterstreicht, wie bedeutsam die Veranstaltung für Wissenschaft und Wirtschaft ist.
Christoph Thuemmler von der Edinburgh Napier University informiert beispielsweise über das Potenzial der Informationstechnologie im Gesundheitswesen. Hierzu zählen unter anderem Health-Apps, die die Schritte zählen oder Herzfrequenz und Blutzucker messen. Weitere Referenten von der 1&1 AG oder der dänischen Firma Living Labs Global schildern am Industrietag ihre praktischen Erfahrungen.
