The 2nd German-Armenian telemedicine conference in Deggendorf is part of the promotion of bilateral scientific and technological cooperation (STC) between Germany and the Republic of Armenia. The project partners are the University Hospital of Regensburg, Klughammer GmbH and the Russian-Armenian State University. Another project partner is the Deggendorf Institute of Technology. All of them participate in the health research project. The focus of the project funded by BMBF and the Armenian Institutions in Healthcare Information and Communication Technologies is the "Evaluation of Scientific, Educational and Practical Cooperation between German and Armenian Institutions in Healthcare Information and Communication Technologies".
Health informatics and communication technologies will be regarded from different technological, economic and medical perspectives during the meeting. The aim of the conference is to combine research and practice. With information and communication technologies ways will be shown how to improve medical care of patients.
Speaker of the Bavarian Ministry of Health, the DGTelemed, SOS Children's Villages, ESPI, the hospital Neumarkt, the DIT, the industry and the Armenian partners will present the topic from different angles.

Visitors are invited to this event. All presentations will be held in English. The event will be free of charge.
