Die Fachgruppe Innovationsmanagement wird dabei mit der bestehenden Fachgruppe Förderung zusammengeführt, da die Akquise von Fördermitteln für die Entwicklung und Umsetzung von innovativen Produkten und Prozessen eine wichtige Rolle spielt.
In Vorgesprächen wurden bereits Themen von hohem Interesse speziell für KMUs identifiziert:
Strukturierung und Steuerung von Innovationsprozessen
Ermöglichen von „Cross-Industry Innovations“
Aufbau von Innovationsmanagement-Strukturen in Unternehmen
Entwicklung einer Systematik z. Auswahl v. Kooperationspartnern
