Navigating Noise steht im Zentrum der Untersuchungen von Acts of Orientation, einem interdisziplinären Forschungsprojekt der Künstlerin Kerstin Ergenzinger, dem Physiker Thomas Laepple und der Kuratorin Nathanja van Dijk. Es hinterfragt Formen der Orientierung in unserer technologisierten Welt aus räumlich-körperlicher sowie natur- und geisteswissenschaftlicher Perspektive. Neben der Ausstellung finden ein Seminar und ein Vortrag in Kooperation mit der Forschungsgruppe »Analogspeicher« im Exzellenzcluster Bild Wissen Gestaltung der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin statt.
