Pilot Scale Manufacturing of Nanoparticles & Nanocomposites

The workshop is organised bei partners of the EU-funded project CO-PILOT. During the workshop relevant methods for the preparation of nanoparticles and nanocomposites on a pilot manufacturing scale will be introduced.

Attendees will have the opportunity to receive valuable information and to discuss in a
pleasant atmosphere with the experts of CO-PILOT partners and to visit the research facility
for the manufacturing of nanocomposites at the Süddeutsche Kunststoffzentrum SKZ in Würzburg.

The CO-PILOT project (Flexible Pilot Scale Manufacturing of Cost-Effective Nanocomposites through Tailored Precision Nanoparticles in Dispersion) is an EU-project in the frame of Horizon 2020 and addresses the field of polymer nanocomposites and nanocomposite coatings.

Within the scope of this project, pilot lines for the production of TiO2, ZnO, LDHs, hollow
SiO2 and superparamagnetic nanoparticles as well as the respective nanocomposites
will be established.
