Schwerpunktthema der Veranstaltung ist der „Multi-Material-Mix im Automobil“. Moderne Kunststoffe spielen besonders bei Leichtbaukonzepten eine immer wichtigere Rolle. Die eingesetzten Polymermaterialien, Verbunde und Verarbeitungstechniken werden immer ausgereifter. So entstehen heute Multi-Material-Kombinationen, von denen vor 10 Jahren nur geträumt wurde.
