Johann Kreuzer ist Professor für die Geschichte der Philosophie an der Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg. Er leitet die Adorno-Forschungsstelle und das Hannah Arendt Zentrum in Oldenburg und ist zudem Mitglied im Vorstand der Internationalen Hölderlin-Gesellschaft. In Forschung und Publikationen liegen seine Schwerpunkte in der Sprach-, Kunst- und Religionsphilosophie von der Antike bis zur Gegenwart. Er hat zur Geschichte und Kritik der Metaphysik gearbeitet und zu Augustinus und Adorno publiziert.
Der Vortrag findet statt im Rahmen der Akademievorlesungen 2015/2016 „'Die Zeit, die ist ein sonderbar Ding.' Konzepte zum Begriff und zum Verständnis der Zeit aus Philosophie, Theologie und Ökonomie“.
Wir weisen darauf hin, dass die Veranstaltung aufgezeichnet wird. Wir stellen den Video-Stream zum Download auf unsere Homepage. Eine Übertragung im Hörfunk zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt ist vorgesehen. Die Veranstaltung wird fotografisch dokumentiert.
