32nd After-Work Lecture: Value Investing History and Process

Nicolas Scheuermann is founder and Managing Director of Scheuermann & Co. AG, a Swiss based distributor of Tweedy Browne Value Funds Sicav in Continental Europe.

In a world where investors do not know whom or what to follow, do the simple principles of value investing taught by Benjamin Graham last century in the “Intelligent investor“ still work? This presentation will give some insights to the birth and development of value investing, as well as implementation. Furthermore, practical examples are discussed on how Tweedy, Browne Company LLC – a US value investor established in 1920 and currently holding $21.9 billion in AuM – select promising long-term investments and implement their strategies.
