Kann es Wohlstand ohne Wirtschaftswachstum geben? Die Dokumentation sucht nach Lebens- und Wirtschaftsmodellen, die den Weg in die Postwachstumsgesellschaft weisen. Die Filmemacherin Karin de Miguel Wessendorf unternimmt einen Selbstversuch und fragt: “Was muss ich ändern, damit mein Lebensstil zukunftsfähig ist? Und worauf kann ich verzichten ohne Verlust an Lebensqualität?” Auf ihrer Reise durch Europa besucht sie Menschen, Initiativen und Unternehmen, die erkannt haben, dass Wirtschaftswachstum nicht das Mass aller Dinge sein kann.
