On 8 November 2016, voters in the United States of America will elect their 45th President. Some of the most contentious issues in the presidential race have been immigration, gun control, climate change, Syrian refugees, health care, abortion, the death penalty and taxes. With the race all but down to Donald Trump and Ted Cruz for the Republicans and Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders on the Democrat side, the chaotic and unpredictable primary season continues. What kind of policy can we expect from the remaining candidates? What issues and presidential qualities are driving the American voters? These and other questions will be discussed at the Hertie School of Governance on 20 April 2015.

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.
You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
