Die Sicherheit von mobilen Anwendungen und die Privatheit der Nutzer ist das zentrale Thema der Security & Privacy Week (SPW) 2016, die zwischen dem 18. – 22. Juli 2016 in Darmstadt stattfindet.
Die Veranstaltungswoche der TU Darmstadt bietet international anerkannte Konferenzen wie das Privacy Enhancing Technologies Symposium (PETS), die ACM Konferenz Security and Privacy in Wireless and Mobile Networks (WiSec) und mehrere internationale Workshops zu unterschiedlichen Privacy Themen.
Neben den Hauptveranstaltungen ermöglichen zusätzliche Social Events den Teilnehmern einen aktiven Austausch mit Experten aus Forschung und Industrie. Der Security Week Pass bietet Teilnehmern die Möglichkeit, uneingeschränkt alle Veranstaltungen der SPW2016 an allen Tagen zu besuchen.
