Im Wissenschaftsjahr 2016*17 »Meere und Ozeane« bietet unser Kooperationspartner Erlebniszentrum Naturgewalten in List auf Sylt verschiedene Veranstaltungen für die Öffentlichkeit an.
Das Klima der Erde verändert sich, doch war das schon immer so? Was sind die Gründe dafür, und woher wissen wir das alles eigentlich? Dieser Vortrag zeigt, wie Klimaschwankungen der Vergangenheit erkannt werden, und welcher Aufwand dafür nötig ist. Das Eis der Polargebiete spielt dabei ebenso eine Rolle wie Meeresströmungen, die Sonne und sogar Geschichtsbücher.
