Der Vortrag befasst sich mit der aktuellen Diskussion um die „Integration” von Geflüchteten in Deutschland. Der Referent wird aus der Perspektive eines geflüchteten Akademikers berichten, der seine Erfahrungen teilen will, d.h. das Lernen, Umlernen und Sich-Ändern – und alle weiteren Hürden, welchen im Verlauf der „Integration” begegnet werden kann.
Zum Referenten: Der Referent hat seinen MBA in Schottland und einen PhD in den Niederlanden gemacht. Er war Leiter der Verwaltungs-/Finanzabteilung des National Board for Higher Education (NBHE) sowie Assistant Professor für Rechnungs- und Finanzwesen an einem Business College. 2014 musste er sein Heimatland verlassen und versucht seither, in Deutschland beruflich wieder Fuß zu fassen.
