Germany will take on the G20 presidency this coming fall after China’s. As global economic growth still remains fragile and new sources of vulnerability impact the world economy, the G20 faces a challenging agenda. In addition to addressing anemic economic growth, the G20 is under pressure to tackle new items that may have far-ranging implications for the global economy in the longer term: from the migration and refugee crisis to climate change, from inclusive growth to the implications of a digital economy.
