Der Bedarf an akademisch ausgebildeten Informationsspezialistinnen und –spezialisten steigt daher stetig. Sie sorgen dafür, dass Entscheidungsträger nicht irgendeine Information erhalten, sondern genau die richtige zum richtigen Zeitpunkt. Das Rüstzeug hierfür liefert das Bachelor-Studium Information Science. Dieses ist multidisziplinär ausgerichtet und integriert Elemente aus den Bereichen Mensch und Computer, Informationsmethodik, Medien- und Kommunikationswissenschaft sowie Betriebswirtschaft.
