Was ist aus europarechtlicher und europapolitischer Perspektive nach dem BREXIT-Votum zu erwarten? Ist es eine Chance für eine reformierte EU mit Großbritannien? Wie beurteilen Wirtschaftsvertreter die Folgen für exportorientierte und auf den europäischen Markt ausgerichtete Unternehmen? Welche Folgen hätte der BREXIT speziell für die saarländische Wirtschaft? Wie sehen die Briten die kommende Entwicklung? Und welche Maßnahmen sind europapolitisch zu treffen, um die EU (mit oder ohne Großbritannien) zukunftssicher zu machen? Ein hochkarätig zusammengesetztes Podium wird diese Fragen diskutieren, darunter der Direktor des Europa-Instituts der Saar-Universität Professor Thomas Giegerich, Professor Nigel Foster (Robert Kennedy College, Zürich, ehem. Bristol Law School), Nick Leake von der Britischen Botschaft in Berlin, Dr. Sigrid Fretlöh vom Team Europe (Bonn) und der Wiener Wirtschaftsanwalt Professor Stefan Weber.
Die Moderation übernimmt Lothar Warscheid von der Saarbrücker Zeitung.
