Unter dem Motto „Europa im Wandel“ lädt die Universität Bamberg am Freitag, 28. Juli 2017, zum 11. Wissenschaftstag der Metropolregion Nürnberg.
Die Themen des diesjährigen Wissenschaftstages sind vielfältig: Welche Richtung nimmt der europäische Arbeits- und Bildungsmarkt im Angesicht der Migration? Welche Verantwortung erwächst aus unserem kulturellen und historischen Erbe? Wie kann Europa im Spannungsfeld von Identität und Diversität bestehen? Wo steht Europa in fünf Jahren?
Hauptredner der Veranstaltung ist der ehemalige EU-Vizepräsident Prof. Günter Verheugen. Die bayerische Gesundheitsministerin Melanie Huml und Oberbürgermeister Andreas Starke sprechen Grußworte. Universitätspräsident Prof. Dr. Dr. habil. Godehard Ruppert führt in das Thema ein.
