Zink als essenzieller Bestandteil unseres körpereigenen, Blutzucker-regulieren Hormons Insulin und seine Rolle bei der Entstehung des Typ 1 Diabetes (Jugenddiabetes) begründen eine enge Verknüpfung zur endokrinen Volkskrankheit Diabetes und deren Prävention.
Dieses spannende Thema wird am 28.9. um 18.30 Uhr im öffentlichen Vortrag von Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Maret (King’s College, London , UK) mit dem Titel „Verborgene Wirkungsweisen von Zink in Diabetes“ aufgegriffen werden.
