The scientific organisers will be Prof. Ulrike Feudel (Oldenburg), Prof. Klaus
Lehnertz (Bonn), and myself, and the event will be funded and accommodated
by the Volkswagen foundation.
In more detail, the conference will take place in Hannover Herrenhausen
Palace, which is a conference site in re-built historic place. It will start
on the morning of Tuesday, March 6, and end at noon of Friday, March 9.
There will be a one-day tutorial for those who are entering the field of
extreme events, on Monday March 5.
There are no conference fees, and food supply during the conference will be
provided. Early stage researchers can apply for support to their travel
expenses.
