Architektur war schon immer auf urbane, kulturelle und technologische Praktiken, gesellschaftliche und räumliche Entwicklungen bezogen. Relationen dienen der Architektur nicht nur zur reflexiven, disziplinären Abgrenzung, sie konstituieren den räumlichen, zeitlichen und konzeptuellen Kontext, der Architektur erst ermöglicht.
Zu Gast an der HCU Hamburg sind: Martí Franch Batllori, Jenny B. Osuldsen, Jean-Philippe Vassal, Jesko Fezer, Bettina Steinbrügge, Nikolaus Hirsch, Joerg Fingerhut und Frank Barkow. Die Veranstaltung findet anlässlich der Neuberufung von vier Professorinnen und Professoren in der Architektur statt und wurde von Prof. Antje Stokman, Prof. Christoph Heinemann, Prof. Dr. Mona Mahall und Prof. Dr. Matthias Ballestrem innerhalb ihrer Fachgebiete Architektur und Landschaft, Architektur und Stadt, Architektur und Kunst und Architektur und experimentelles Entwerfen konzipiert.
Relations wird von der HafenCity Hamburg GmbH unterstützt und ist Teil der Reihe HafenCity Lectures.
