Smart Sensors - mechanistic and data driven modelling

The availability of high-performance sensor systems is a prerequisite for the success of biotechnology in the era of industry 4.0.

This conference deals with current and future developments within this area, provides insights into specific applications and highlights challenges and opportunities.

In addition to their particular measuring tasks, today’s sensors must be able to make independent process decisions as well as to control and optimize processes in real time. For this purpose, it is important that the sensors are capable of complex signal processing, self-diagnosis, and independent validity testing, are able to evaluate, summarize and pass on information about themselves and the environment as well as making decisions on this basis. At the “Smart Sensors” conference, experts from academia and industry, suppliers and users will discuss how smart sensors can promote “biotechnology 4.0”.

The conference is organized by DECHEMA in cooperation with the DECHEMA working group Biotechnology Measurement and Control/ Fachgruppe Messen und Regeln in der Biotechnologie and ESBES Section on Modelling, Monitoring, Measurement & Control (M3C).

Combination of search terms

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.

Brackets

You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).

Phrases

Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.

Selection criteria

You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).

If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
