UV fluorescence is already used in many areas for damage analysis. In photovoltaics, it plays an increasingly important role in damage assessment.
In order to open up UV fluorescence as an analysis method for PV module defects to inspectors and experts, ISFH is organizing a workshop on UV fluorescence on PV modules for the first time. In addition to the basics and the measuring equipment, interpretation aids for this technology will be presented.
UV fluorescence can be used to identify cell cracks, hot spots and cell interconnector breakage. Especially in the case of cell cracks, it is possible to distinguish between recent and older cell cracks.
We invite you to learn about this exciting new topic in our workshop.
Information on participating / attending:
Registration fee € 50,-/Person. The registration fee covers the participation on the workshop, the lectures as pdf-files, example application and lunch.
Any cancellation must be notified in writing at least by October 5, 2018. Cancellations received later require the entire fee to be paid. However, you may transfer your registration to another person that has not already registered at least one day before the workshop.
