The conference also provides an opportunity for the participants to consider and discuss options for aligning two approaches: chemicals control and sustainable chemical evolution (Green Chemistry), in order to make our society fit for sustainable living with chemicals in a less toxic world. Detailed information on the Green Chemistry Conference and registration is available here.
Part of the conference will be dedicated to a presentation of Green Chemistry Start-ups.
The conference is prepared by the EU Trio Presidency (EE-BG-AT) as their contribution to the achievement of the Global Sustainable Development Goals within Europe. It will be a follow-up to the joined efforts of the three EU Presidencies to further integrate sustainability in the regulatory framework of European environment policy.
The fourth UNIDO - Global Chemical Leasing Award Ceremony will be held at the conference’s closing event on November 6th, 2018.
The ISC3 Innovation Hub which is hosted by DECHEMA is a partner of this conference.
