terraXcube is a research infrastructure that simulates the Earth’s most extreme climatic conditions: nowhere else in the world is there a place that can emulate conditions at the summit of the Himalayas as well as in the middle of a North African desert. With terraXcube, researchers and entrepreneurs have a unique laboratory at their disposal: supported by the experts of Eurac Research, they can investigate the influence of all conceivable weather conditions and different altitudes on humans, ecology and technology.
The exciting construction phase has now been completed. We cordially invite you to the opening of this special research facility on 30 November. Come and get a taste of the work that will go on at terraXcube and shake hands with organizers of this project coming from South Tyrol and abroad.
We look forward to meeting you!
