Kunst und Wissenschaft sind frei – so steht es im Grundgesetz. Seit 1949 sind die freie künstlerische Gestaltung und die Wahrheitssuche mit wissenschaftlichen Methoden als bürgerliche Rechte verbrieft und geschützt. Dennoch scheint die Freiheit von Kunst und Wissenschaft derzeit unter Druck zu geraten: Kunstwerke werden aus Museen entfernt, literarische Werke umgeschrieben und Ergebnisse der Forschung angezweifelt.
Wie steht es also heute, im Jubiläumsjahr des Grundgesetzes, um die Kunst- und Wissenschaftsfreiheit? Welche Bedeutung hat sie für uns? Wo gerät sie in Konflikte? Und warum ist es wichtig, dass wir sie schützen? – Diskutieren Sie mit!
