Im Zentrum des Interreg-Projekts Made in Danube steht die Bioökonomie als Schlüsseltechnologie für nachhaltiges Wachstum in Europa und der Donauregion. Made in Danube unterstützt Unternehmen im Südosten der Donauregion bei der Steigerung ihrer Wettbewerbsfähigkeit durch die Initiierung von Kooperationsprojekten mit FuE-Einrichtungen und die Förderung von internationalen Kooperationen. Der Fokus liegt auf intelligenten Produktionsformen für die Landwirtschaft (Nitra, Slowakei), nachhaltige Forstwirtschaft (Vukovar, Kroatien) und Bioenergie/Biofuels (Novi Sad, Serbien).
Am 3. Juni findet die Abschlusskonferenz von Made in Danube statt. Hierzu werden nationale und internationale Entscheidungsträger aus dem Bereich Bioökonomie erwartet, die an der Einführung von Innovationsinstrumenten auf dem Gebiet der Biokraftstoffe, der Forstwirtschaft und der intelligenten Landwirtschaft interessiert sind.
