- Mit dem Projekt „BiKoSim“, gefördert vom BMEL unter der Trägerschaft der FNR, widmet sich das IfBB dem Thema der gekoppelten Prozess- und Festigkeitssimulationen für Biokunststoffe im Spritzgießen und
- mit „ComEX“, gefördert vom BMBF unter der Trägerschaft vom PTJ, werden Simulationen im Extrusionsprozess untersucht.
Simulationen der Verarbeitungsprozesse spielen eine immer wichtigere Rolle, u. a. für die Substitution von fossilbasierten durch biobasierte Kunststoffe.
